So, as with any big event the key to a successful Big Day is in the planning. Let us take away the stress of organising the wine for the wedding breakfast or evening function.
Drawing on our experience of 25 years of supplying weddings and other social gatherings we can tailor make the wines required to give your function a customized feel. Most of the time wine at a function only gets noticed if it is below standard. Your guests will be drinking wines of very discernable character and will not give a second thought to the wine, which is the way it should be, as they should be thinking of you.
How much do I need and what will it cost?
Our retail team will work out for you the quantities required, and if you have a budget (as often you must!) they can work out the best choice of wines available.
How do I know the wines are what I want?
Once our retail team have worked out the requirements you need, for the number of guests attending, it is always best to try before you buy. We suggest you might want to have an informal wine tasting by purchasing a selection of wines from those offered by our retail team. Subject to a minimum 48 bottle order we will refund the sample(s) of the wine(s) chosen in full.
When and how can I get my order?
You can collect or arrange collection from our warehouse in Brighton. (We have free parking for collection). But do you want the hassle of collecting when we can deliver at a time and venue suitable to you? In Brighton and Hove we deliver 6 days a week Monday to Saturday, so we would be more than happy to share this burden when you have so many other things to think of.
How far in advance do I have to order?
The further in advance you order the more likely you will be able to get what you want. That said we carry good stocks of most our lines, but to be safe we say 6 weeks in advance should be enough. We can supply the day before or same day in some instances, but choice might be more restricted.
Do you supply glasses?
We can supply a fluted glass, which is suitable for red, white or sparkling wines. These are supplied on FREE loan in commensurate quantities to the wine ordered. We do not supply glasses without a wine order. We do not supply any other glasses on loan. The charge for breakages or loss of glasses is £1.20 per glass. We ask that glasses are returned washed and clean.
What if I have over ordered?
We can offer a Sale or Return package. This means we will take back up to a third of the order that has been charged and delivered/collected from us. All orders have to be paid for before delivery/collection and the refund for Sale or Return will be by the same method. If paid by credit card the refund must be to the same card.
